A Hidden Hut on the Cornish Coast

A popular destination for a family holiday, a romantic trip away for two or a solo weekend escape from the city, Cornwall is a county known for its unique coves, stunning coastal paths, delicious Cornish Pasties and much more! What many do not know about however is the hidden gem that is tucked away on a Cornish cliff, and serving a range of delicious food. As its name so clearly suggests, The Hidden Hut is one of Cornwall’s best kept secrets!

Located overlooking Porthcurnick (one of the most unspoiled beaches on the South Coast of Cornwall) and hidden from view, The Hidden Hut is set to give you a meal you won’t forget. By day, it is a beach café offering delicious, homemade seasonal lunches including the one-of-the-kind Cornish pasty, as well as sweet snacks such as ice creams and cakes.    However, by night this rather quaint café becomes the perfect venue for a rustic night of feasting and hosts open air suppers throughout the summer.

Previous feasts have included Cornish Lobster & Chips, Slow-Roasted Spring Lamb, Wood-Fired Seafood Paella and Sticky Ribs. All you have to do is bring your own plates and cutlery and what’s more, its BYOB! This event has been known to draw in a large crowd, so make sure to get your hands on a ticket to avoid disappointment.

Please note that due to its uniquely open and wild location, the Hidden Hut is a seasonal venue and therefore open only in the summer months. Enjoy!
